Boiled eggs

Ingredients

  • 8 eggs
  • 1 tsp fine salt
  • Vegemite toast fingers, to serve

Instructions

1 Combine the eggs and salt in a medium saucepan of cold water and set over a high heat. Bring to a boil, then turn the heat to moderate.
2 For soft boiled eggs, cook for 3 minutes, then turn the heat off and stand for 1 more minute, then serve. For medium-boiled eggs, cook for 5 minutes, then turn the heat off and stand for 1 more minute, then serve. For hard-boiled eggs, cook for 7 minutes, then turn the heat off and stand for 2 more minutes, then serve.
