Simple tartare sauce
Serves 4 people
What's fish and chips without Tartare?
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tsp capers, chopped
- 1 gherkin, finely diced
- 4 green olives, finely diced
- 2 sprigs parsley leaves, finely chopped
- pinch cayenne pepper
- salt and pepper
1 Place the mayonnaise in a large mixing bowl.
2 Stir in the remaining ingredients and season lightly with salt and pepper.
